Taraba state Governor Darius Ishaku gave the directive when he visited two sites of projects at River Lamorde and College of Agriculture Jalingo.

The Governor expressed satisfaction at the site of River Lamorde at Unguwan Sarki adding that the population of people in Jalingo have increased which necessitated the increase in the quantity of water supply.

Conducting the Governor round, the general manager, Taraba State water Supply Agency, Musa Buba said the Lamorde water project would have a reservoir that would contain twenty-eight million litres of water which would serve half a million Tarabans.

At the College of Agriculture, Jalingo the Governor directed the company to look for a suitable site so that if completed there would be enough water.

Also speaking the company supervisor, Macky Nwelim said they have sunk the borehole but have not met the level of water expected.
