The Chairman Taraba State Rice Farmers Association Yayya Isa Lau stated this while baring his mind on the visit of the C.B.N assessment team on the dry-season farming programme.
He said the visit of the team was an indication that the agricultural sector in the state is receiving a boost.
The Chairman opined that if farmers were given adequate attention through the provision of farm inputs it would improve the economic status of the state acknowledging that most farmers were willing to engage in mechanize farming for a bumper harvest.
Yayya Isa Lau advised rice farmers in the state to intensify their efforts towards making the dry season farming programme a success.
