Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has approved the appointment of Mr. Polycarp Iranius as the new Auditor-General of Taraba State. The appointment is however subject to the confirmation of the State House of Assembly.
Mr. Iranius holds a first degree in Accountancy from the University of Maiduguri and a Master degree in Accounting from the Federal University of Technology, Yola. He started his working carrier in the office of the Auditor-General of Taraba state in 1992 and rose through the ranks to the position of chief Auditor.
The new Auditor-General is a certified national accountant registered with the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria and hails from Karim-Lamido local government area of Taraba State.
