Governor’s Wife Barr. Ann Ishaku Commends Police Officers Wives.

In her effort to promote unity, the  Wife of Taraba State Governor Barr. Anna Darius Ishaku today hosted Police officer’s Wives Association (POWA) and commended the efforts of the IG’s wife in checking on their welfare in the state.

Barr.Anna gave this commendation today at the Presidential Lodge in Jalingo when officials of Police Officers Wives Association, POWA, paid her a courtesy visit.
Describing the visit as an act of love and concern for Taraba and the North East Zone, Barr. Anna assured the association of her maximum support in achieving their goals and objectives most especially in improving the lot of women, adding that her doors are always open to them whenever they visit the State.
Speaking on behalf of her colleague’s, Wife of A.I G. Zone 3 Yola, Mrs Rahinat Lawan Sambo expressed delight at the warm reception accorded them by Her Excellency, stating that the group was delegated by the Inspector General’s wife to check on the welfare of her members and also to foster mutual understanding amongst it members at all levels.
Mrs Rahinat disclosed that their visit would further solidify the footings of barracks, a police academy among other things.
The delegation was led by the wife of Deputy Inspector General for Investigation, Mrs. Jerusha Christopher Katswang. Wives of Adamawa and Taraba State Police  commissioners were part of the delegation.
