Barr. Anna Darius Ishaku wife of the Taraba State Governor, has charged groups to initiate ideas that will foster unity and trust, this she said is vital for the healthy growth of any society.
The Governor’s wife gave this charge today when she received delegations from the Taraba Business Forum and the Medical Women Association. She stressed that groups must create a healthy platform for sharing ideas as no society’s steady growth is guaranteed without sharing ideas.
The leader of the Taraba Business Forum, Dr. Salem Gimba in his introductory address stated that the forum was targeted at giving youths the opportunity to be self-employed.
They do this by organising Information and Communications Technology, ICT, training, seminar and workshops to help young people create and sustain their businesses.
He further stated that the Forum is willing to collaborate with the Hope Afresh Foundation in the Rescue Agenda to impact positively on the lives of the people of Taraba.
In the same vein the president of the Medical Women Association, Taraba State Chapter, Dr. Mrs. Aisha Adamu disclosed that the association is aimed at expanding the role of women in promoting quality in the health sector of the state and the country at large.
She stressed that the association is focused on improving women’s health and professionalism among female doctors. She solicited for partnership with the Hope Afresh Foundation so they can offer their services where needed.
Both groups commended Her Excellency on her positive impact on the lives of the people of Taraba especially the less privileged. They urged her to continue the good work while pledging their support where ever it is required.
