The Taraba state House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of Mrs. Regular Samuel as Commissioner in the Taraba state House of Assembly Service Commission, (HASC).
This is a sequel to a letter sent to it by the Executive Governor, Taraba state, Arc. Darius Ishaku, seeking the approval of the House for the appointment of the nominee into the Commission.
In a plenary session held Tuesday, and presided over by Speaker of the House, Abel Peter Diah, considered the nominee for screening and afterward approved the appointment of the nominee.
The Member, representing Nguroje constituency, Bashir Mohammed, in his contribution, extolled the wealth of experience of the candidate and asked the House to ask her to take a bow, which was agreed.
The House then unanimously gave its consent while the Speaker asked the Clerk of the House to communicate to the Governor on the new development.
Mrs. Regular Samuel was born in 1970. She hails from the Kambu tribe in Sardauna LGA of Taraba state. She is BSC degree holder in Agric. Economics from the University of Maiduguri, and an MSC holder in Agric Economics from the Modibbo Adama University of Technology, (MAUTECH) Yola. Before her appointment, she was a Lecturer with the Taraba state College of Education Zing.
