Taraba state Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has solicited for prayers from Tarabans for the rescue team to achieve its aim of developing the state.

Governor Darius Ishaku said this during the twenty seventeen annual conference of the Christian Reformed Church Nigeria, RCC Jalingo.

He said in view of the plans of some mischief makers to thwart the development initiatives of his administration it is logical to seek for fervent prayers for peace and development of the state.

Governor Darius Ishaku stated that the infiltration of unknown Fulani Herdsmen in the state and called for vigilance from people of the state to report suspicious persons in their area.

The Governor remarked that plans are already on ground to renovate primary schools in the state and farmers who are into raining season farming.

He also assured Tarabans of renovating three hospitals in Bambur, Wukari and Sardauna before his second year in office.

Earlier, National President of The CRCN Nigeria Caleb Solomon Ahima called on members of the church to support the various mission fields of the church in Mali, Niger, Sierra Leone and Kenya.

Represented by the Vice President of the CRCN Isaiah Magaji Jirapye opined that the church is aware of the recession in the country and called on them to stand firm in propagating the gospel of the Lord.

The President also commiserated with families who lost their loved ones during crises in various parts of the state and pray God to comfort them.

The conference ended with special prayers for the Governor, his wife Anna Ishaku, Head of service Istifanus Angyu, commissioners and other aides.
