The National Office of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, has condoled with the family of former Governor of Taraba State, Danbaba Danfulani Suntai who passed on recently.
The PDP Board Of Trustees Chairman, Senator Walid Jibrin while commiserating with the family of the deceased at their house at GRA Jalingo, said God deemed it fit to take away the former Governor when he is most needed in the State, and called on his family, the Government and the people of the State to accept Suntai’s death in good faith and to see it as an act of God.
He added that the Former Governor who died recently was a good man who lived an examplary life and stated that his character is worthy of emulation.
Also speaking, the State Chairman of the PDP Victor Kona also said that the Late former Governor was a firm and honest politician who will be greatly missed by the people of the State and beyond.
Victor Kona said his contribution to the development of the present Taraba cannot be quantified and encouraged the family to be strong and move on and prayed for the repose of his soul.
Responding on behalf of the family, Danladi Suntai appreciated the delegation for commiserating with the family stating that a vacuum has been created which will be difficult to fill.
Danladi Suntai appreciated the delegation for identifying with the Suntai’s family during it’s trying moment and prayed for God to grant them journey mercies.
The delegation of the party was led by the Board Of Trustees Chairman, Senator Jibrin Walid, accompanied by the North/East Zonal Chairman of the party, Amb. Emmanuel Njiwah, and the Chairman of the PDP in Taraba State, Victor Kona and some State PDP Officials.
Former Governor Danbaba Danfulani Suntai died in Orlando Florida, USA where he was receiving medical treatment.
