Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has expressed optimism that the ongoing Tikari linking Rogo ward road in Takum, would be complemented in six months time.
The Governor stated this when he went on an inspection visit to the area.
He appreciated the level of work carried out by the Taraba Road Maintenance Agency, promising to give them the needed support.
Governor Ishaku stressed that the essence of the work is to make sure that the dilapidated roads are wearing a new look after its completion.
Commenting a resident of the area Bitrus Adamu, commended the Governor for embarking on the construction of the road as it would go a long way to ameliorate their sufferings.
He pray God to give him more strength to ensure that the road project comes to conclusion.
Also speaking Ishaku Idi applauded the effort of the Governor and pleaded for its extension to accommodate areas threatened by erosion.
During the inspection, residence of the area came out in their large numbers to appreciate the Governor.
