The Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku on Thursday distributed foodstuff to Muslim faithfuls in Wukari Local Government Council of the State.
The items which were provided to cushion the hardship of beneficiaries during the Muslim Ramadan fasting was received by the Chairman of Wukari LGA, Ward Councillors and Special Advisers to Governor Ishaku at the Governor’s Lodge in Wukari LGA.
Ward contact persons, party officials, representatives of the muslim council and other stakeholders were also at the governor’s lodge to ensure an even and transparent distribution of the goods to the muslim faithful.
The items distributed included bags of maize and sugar.
