Mr. and Mrs. David Dickson Ishaku joined in Holy Matrimony at CRC-N Jalingo.
David Darius Ishaku, Taraba Governor’s son, Darius Dickson Ishaku, was on Saturday joined in holy matrimony to Dorcas Shekari, at the Christian Reformed Church in Nations (CRCN) Jalingo, amidst pomp and pageantry.
In a Sermon delivered by Bishop Anglican communion Jalingo, has as its topic, “Purposes of Marriage” took his reading from the book of Gen. 2:18.
According to him, there is a purpose for every divine agenda and that man is not a product of chance or an afterthought.
“God has a purpose for creating every human being. Marriage also exists for a purpose. For God said I would make him a helpmate. People celebrate ceremony but beyond ceremony there is marriage. People who don’t know the purpose of marriage abuse it”, he stated.
He listed the five purposes of marriage to include: act as spiritual reinforcement, marriage was created to provide help, marriage is instituted for procreation, marriage exists for companionship and to avoid sexual immorality.
Legendary gospel music artiste, Panam Percy Paul, led a special ministration, preceded by the wife of the governor and mother of the groom, Anna Darius Ishaku who rendered a special number with her schoolmates at Gindiri Old Students Association (GOSA).
Gov. Darius Ishaku in like manner with his schoolmates at St Paul’s Boys School Wusasa Zaria (1972 set), also rendered a special number to the delight of the congregation.
