The Executive Secretary of Taraba State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Alhaji Aminu Jauro Hassan has commended Governor Darius Ishaku for working to ensure sustainable growth in primary health care.

According to Alhaji Hassan during a chat with Journalists in his office, “Tarabans domiciled in the rural areas of the State will be eternally grateful to the Governor for his humanitarian nature that has turned his heart to the less privileged.

“The rural communities have not had it so good in the recent history of our State. This agency came on board after His Excellency thought it wise to meet one of the most basic needs of our people in the grassroot which is basic health care.

“We now record reduced infant, maternal mortality rate and provision is regularly made for renovation of primary health care centers in the sixteen councils and special development areas of the State”

Aminu also revealed that the the regular payment of counterpart funds by this administration has opened up the state to the world as international organizations such as WHO, UNICEF and USAID have in no small means funded the supply of drugs and medical equipment that have improved the well being of our rural dwellers.

He further noted that the manner in which Tarabans have thrown their unalloyed support for Gov Ishaku for 2019, the health sector will no doubt be the best legacy of his administration and his name will remain etched in the sands of time.
