He accused the Inspector General of Police for being partisan in the nations politics bringing the Osun and Kogi elections into the fore, and challenged the Nigeria Police to go back to the status quo and keep up true professionalism.

The PDP boss advocated for one man one vote without fear of intimidation from any quarters stating that election in the country must be free, fair and credible.

Receiving the flag, Governor Darius Ishaku thanked the PDP National Chairman for his show of love and promised to make the party proud by winning next year’s gubernatorial election.

He said plans were on ground by some persons to create confusion in the polls emphasizing that
Taraba State belongs to the PDP and would not renege to sustain it.

It would be recalled that Governor Darius Ishaku was unable to receive the PDP flag during the Northeast rally owing to poor weather condition that affected his flight.
