Hon. Bala Bako, Chairman – Ibi Local Government Area

The Chairman of Ibi Local Government Council in Taraba State, Hon. Bala Bako on Thursday said Governor Darius Ishaku and the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, will win the 2019 election in landslide.

Bako who spoke to journalists in Ibi said the poor performance of the All Progressive Congres, APC, led Federal Government was the reason why Nigerians will vote PDP in 2019.

According to him, the people have now compared the performances of PDP and APC and have resolved to return PDP to power in 2019 for the growth and development of Nigeria.

He maintained that Governor Ishaku’s performance in the area of peace, infrastructural development and prompt payment of salaries have endeared him to the people of the State, adding that the people were poised to vote him back in 2019.

“In Ibi Local Government, the Governor has rehabilitated some roads in Ibi town and work is ongoing at the Dampar rural electricity project.

“I want to assure you that what happened in Ibi in 2015 election will not repeat itself.

“We have mobilised our people for the re-election of the Governor and other PDP candidates and surely victory is ours come 2019,” he said.

The Council Chairman also noted that Nigerian electorates were now wiser and would not vote people who will bring them hardship instead of development.

“We can’t continue like this, we need a drastic change and PDP represents that change come 2019,” he said.

“Look at the unemployment figures released by National Bureau of Statistics yesterday which pushed the figure of unemployed Nigerians to an all time high.
