Governor Darius Ishaku has promised to complete the road construction project at the Jalingo mechanic village.

The Governor made this pledge when he visited the village in Jalingo to personally inspect the progress of the work.
According to the Governor, his commitment to completing the road was motivated by the massive turn out of the mechanics during the 2015 elections which brought him into office.
He told the artisans and auto dealers association to compel its members to replicate their resolve and make sure they turn out enmass to vote for him during the upcoming elections.

Reacting, chairman of the Auto Dealers and Mechanics Association Taraba State chapter, Uwakwe Joseph appreciated Governor Ishaku for his laudable steps and keeping to his words.
He promised to mobilize his members during the general elections and stressed that the association would return the good gesture of the Governor by turning out massively to vote for the PDP.
Governor Ishaku thereafter inspected the road work and was accompanied by the Speaker Taraba State House of Assembly, Abel Diah, Commissioner of Works and the Permanent Secretary.
