The Executive Governor of Taraba State, Arch. Darius Ishaku has inaugurated six executives of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

His Excellency, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku together with the newly inaugurated National Vice Chairman, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) North-East, Barr. G. T. Kataps at the EXCO Chambers, Jalingo.
The ceremony which took place at the EXCO Chambers of the Government House in Jalingo saw the swearing in of Barr. Gibon Timothy Kataps as the National Vice Chairman, North East zone. Others are Legal Adviser, Organizing and Financial Secretary and Youth Leader.
The Governor described the new National Vice Chairman of the North East zone, Barr. Gibon T. Kataps as a seasoned administrator and a well-groomed person who had proven himself hence, worthy of the place, recalling that he had earlier declined other appointments rather, promised to be loyal to the party.
He extolled the party as the only nationalistic party owing to its rotational formula which is the only principle that can bring sanity to the country.
In his response, Barr. G.T. Kataps thanked the Governor on behalf of the other officials for finding them worthy to represent the party at the zonal level.
He craved the prayers and support of the Governor and other party members to deliver the PDP in the general elections and restore its glory in the North East.
Kataps assured that party meetings would thenceforth hold in the six north eastern states to enable them cater better for the party at all levels.
On his part, Kabiru Bappa Jauro, the zonal secretary commended the Governor for his intervention in the administration of the party in the north east which has aided it in recording tremendous success.
