There are indications that voting in the Presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled to commence at eight o’clock on Saturday morning may not start on schedule in the State.
This is because as at twelve noon Friday, February Fifteenth which is less than eighteen hours to the commencement of voting,  no electoral material has been received anywhere in the state.
A statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity Bala Dan Abu says this is causing anxiety because of the difficult terrain of some areas which mostly can only be accessed by motorcycles.
It says the delay is certain to affect the elections in the state.
