The Taraba State Government has imposed dusk to dawn curfew on Jalingo, the State capital with effect from Monday 11 March 2019 until further notice.
This was contained in a press statement signed by Hassan Mijinyawa the Chief press Secretary to the Governor.
The Curfew which would run from 6 pm to 6 am daily however exempts some INEC officials, key agents of political parties and observers involved in collation of elections results.
Governor Darius Ishaku has enjoined the people of the State to continue to be law abiding even as he urges security agencies to make sure strict compliance.
