Speaker of the state’s House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abel Peter Diah (DCN)
The announcement which was made by the Speaker of the state’s House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abel Peter Diah (DCN) revealed that Hon. Charles Maijankai, member representing Karim 1 was unanimously nominated by the PDP caucus to serve as the Majority Leader while Hon. Captain Douglas N. Yayaha, member representing Donga is to serve as the Deputy Majority Leader Donga of the 9th Assembly respectively.
The positions of both the Chief Whip and Deputy Chief Whip of the 9th Assembly went to Hon. Josiah John, member representing Wukari 2 and Hon. Hamman Adamu B. Abdullahi, member representing Bali 2 respectively who both came to the House on the platform of PDP.
Hon. Bashir Mohammed, member representing Nguroje on the platform of APC is to serve as the Minority Leader of the 9th Assembly.
