Taraba State Governor, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku turns 65 years old today (July 30). He was born on July 30th 1954, in Lupwe in present day Ussa Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Governor Ishaku has, however, said there will be no special events to mark the anniversary of his birth.
He has rather decided that the day will be devoted to prayers for peace and an end to communal clashes, killings, kidnapping and other forms of crimes that are threatening peace and safety of lives and properties in the state.
Governor Ishaku thanked Tarabans for their support during the events leading to his re-election and inauguration as Governor for a second term and promised to deliver more dividends of democracy before the end of his present tenure.
He urged the people to join him in praying for peace in the state so that the development agenda of his administration will be achieved in full at the end of his tenure as governor of Taraba State.
