Rt. Hon. Abel Peter Diah, the speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly has joined well wishers of the Executive Governor of Taraba State, Architect Darius Dickson Ishaku to thank God for adding another year to his life.
The thanksgiving service which took place inside the Government House Chapel, Jalingo had in attendance lovers and well wishers from all walks of life.
The Speaker in his goodwill message on behalf of the State House of Assembly, said, “While working closely with you, we have seen your desire for peace in Taraba State and as such, we have also seen people who have sacrificed in other parts of this world for peace to reign in their area; people who have sacrificed to liberate their people.”
Having seen all these, we felt it is necessary that we refer to you a history, if we associate you with the people who in this world have sacrificed greatly for their for their people and to liberate them, he added.
The Speaker then showed His Excellency pictures of some of the great men with great legacies and also congratulate him on his new age.
