The Honourable Speaker, Taraba State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.(DCN) Peter Abel Diah and the entire Honourable Members heartily congratulate His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Taraba State Arch. Darius Dickson Ishaku and the good people of the State on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the creation of Taraba State as signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Speaker on Media and Publicity, Baba Dahiru Jen.
“Your Excellency, our dear State has come a long way within 28 years of its creation. We have witnessed a series of physical and infrastructural developments in our political and socio-economic history occasioned by successive administrations.”
“Your Excellency, you came on board when the state was engulfed with a myriad of security problems and other challenges but within your short stay in office as the Executive Governor of Taraba State, your visionary leadership qualities has brought unprecedented changes to the good people of Taraba State through your “Rescue Agenda” which are evident in the numerous projects you have executed and the prevailing peace now being enjoyed in a significant part of the state.
“Your Excellency, we know you as a man of greatness and strong character. We commend you for your prompt response in addressing the recent cases of kidnapping and banditry in the state. We continue to pray for your successes as we wish Taraba the best under your reign.”
“While we are not unmindful of the recent security challenges in the state, we want to commend security apparatus in the state for their gallant and relentless determination in trying to curtail kidnapping and banditry activities.”
“It is our hope that they will continue to step up efforts to make Taraba a safe haven. As law makers, we will continue to be committed to the rule of law, economic development and value added decisions for our dear state. As always, we look forward to an ever increasing cordial relationship towards good governance and ensuring peaceful co-existence among the people of Taraba State.”
