Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku says plans are on the way to expand the Danbaba Danfulani Suntai Airport to international standard.
The Governor made the disclosure during an Inspection of the Airport in Jalingo.
He said the state deserved an International Airport in view of his quest to open the rich and abundant resources that abound in the state, stressing that some large expanse of land at the airport would be used for developmental purposes.
It could be recalled that Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku recently extended the run way of the Danbaba Suntai Airport as the required standard of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria for effective landing.
