Taraba state Deputy Governor, Engr. Haruna Manu together with the State’s PDP Chairman Victor Bala Kona in a jubilation mood over the judgement that reaffirmed Gov. Ishaku’s victory at the poll.

The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja on a case before it appealed by APC/Appellant challenging the March 9 2019 gubernatorial election’s victory of Arc. Darius Ishaku of Taraba state is hereby dismissed due to some factors as follows;

The Appellant’s inability to provide a valid candidate,

The court holds that the Appellant’s candidate is only a nominee and not a valid candidate,

The court does not allow the Appellant to challenge an election which it didn’t validly participated,

The Appellant couldn’t present a valid voters register and other valid documents to prove her over voting case,

There wasn’t any link between the agents/PU’s and the Appellant’s documents tendered for the alleged over voting PUs,

The table tendered by the Appellant only shows tabulated results of the election scored by party and not how it was arrived at,

Even if the figures the Appellant alleged as over voting is deducted, yet the first and second Respondent will still emerged victorious.

After electoral victory at the just concluded general elections, Governor Ishaku substantially and legally floored the opposition All Progressive Congress, APC at court again.

The appellant lose it again at the Appeal Court in Abuja as the panel to the appeal watered down the points raised by the failed All Progressive Congress, APC.
