Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has again thanked Tarabans for the trust bestowed on him to rule the state for the second term.
Reacting during the court of Appeal judgement which affirmed him as the winner of the last gubernatorial poll in the State the Governor promised to initiate more life touching programs to the people.
He said though the judgement did not come to him as a surprise attributing it to God Almighty who has seen him through the polls, tribunal and the court of Appeal.
The Governor prayed for peace to be still in all parts of the country.
Commenting, Senator Aisha Jummai Alhassan who was a candidate of the United Development Party UDP said the court has spoken according to the law.
She congratulated Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku, his deputy Haruna Manu and Members of her party PDP for the victory.
The Former Minister of Women Affairs and social development saluted the courage of the APC and called on them to support the present administration.
On his part, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Victor Bala Kona maintained that the APC did not have valid candidate before the Governorship poll in the state.
He stated that PDP will protect their mandate even if the APC decided to go to the supreme court.
Efforts to speak with the APC Representatives prove abortive as they left the court scene early after the verdict.
