The Executive Governor, Arch. Darius Dickson Ishaku and the good people of Taraba state paid a condolence visit to the family of the former Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abel Peter Diah, the member representing Mbamga constituency over the demise of his elder sister, Mrs. Magret Jerry Peter Diah.
The governor who was represented by his deputy, Engr. Haruna Manu was received by Rt. Hon. Abel Peter Diah, HRH Amb. Emmanuel Q. Njiwah – The Mbondua of Mbamnga and the deceased siblings.
He prayed for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss and also help fill the vacuum.
Responding on behalf of the family, HRH Ambassador Emmanuel Q. Njiwah the Mbondua Mbamnga thanked and appreciated the State Government for the show of love and sympathy during this trying moment of the family and wish the entourage safe journey back to their various destinations.
Those present among the entourage are member representing Lau/Karim-lamido/Ardo-kola federal constituency, Hon. Danladi Tijos Baido former and presnt commissioners, some top government functionaries and some local government chairmen among others.
