The Taraba State Governor, Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku has approved the composition of a technical committee on COVID 19 to ensure adequate control and sensitization of the state’s population on the outbreak of CoronaVirus
This was contained in a Press Release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Hassan Mijinyawa, MCIPR.
According to the Press Release, the technical committee which is expected to expand stakeholder engagements and enhance sensitization campaign across the state has the following members,
1. Commissioner for Health, Dr. Innocent Vakai,- Chairman
2. Commissioner of Information & Re-Orientation, Barr. Danjuma Adamu -Member
3. Commissioner for Urban Development, Hon. Saleh Sa’ad – Member
4. Permanent Secretary. Ministry of Health, Dr. Ebenezer Kuku Apake – Member
5. Director of Public Health, Dr. Abe Agbu – Member
6 Director Epidemiology, Dr. Udi Aketemo – Member
7. Chief Medical Director, Specialist Hospital, Dr. Alex Maiangwa – Member
8. Chief Medical Director, FMC, Jalingo, Dr. Attah Dangana -Member
9. Executive Secretary, Health Services Management Board, Dr. Micah Madaki – Member
10. Executive Secretary. State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Alhaji Aminu Hassan – Member
11. State Coordinator World Health Organization, Alh. Faruk Umar – Member
