The Executive Governor of Taraba state, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku has again continued to show his commitment towards protecting every Taraban by stressing that the life of every Taraban is important to him as he reemphasized the directives of Stay-at-home to civil servants from level 1-12 across the state.

The governor gave the assurance via his official facebook account where he made it clear that the directive is with exception to civil servants involved in rendering some essential duties.

“In my efforts to protect our citizens and residents from the COVID-19 Virus.”

“All workers on grade levels 1 -12, are to stay at home, with the exception of those on essential duties, such as Health Staff, Fire Services, and Taraba State Water Corporation, effective Wednesday 25th March, 2020.”

“The two (2) weeks compulsory stay at home is to enable us to monitor and assess the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.”

“All buses must provide Hand Sanitizers for travellers.”

“The life of every Taraban is important to me, thus, these measures are for the good of all, and with our precautionary measures in place; with everyone on alert, playing their own part to keep yourselves and your families safe, we shall overcome this soonest.”
