Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has expressed satisfaction at the level of work done on the road dualization project going on within the state capital.
The Governor did a stop over to see for himself the level of work carried out on the project after his visit to the isolation center at the specialist hospital.
Speaking to news men, Governor Ishaku said the work is on a good speed with a commendable quality but however said the work will not be delivered at the earlier scheduled time due to the COVID-19 Pandemic which has slowed the work terribly.
The Governor said even though the project was scheduled to be one hundred percent completed and delivered in 18 months, it may not be so any longer as the contractors have reassured the completion of the project to be within 24 months.
Also, the Governor visited the newly built Senate Building of the Taraba State University and expressed gladness at the level of quality job done on the two buildings.
He said Taraba State University is growing to be one of the best in the North and ready to compete with many in the nation.
He applauded the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ado Tenebe for a good job and assured him of an official date for commissioning of the building.
