The Executive Governor of Taraba state, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku ably represented by his Excellency the Deputy Governor of Taraba state Engr. Haruna Manu, received two ambulances and 200 imperial thermometers from Northeast Development Commission in an effort to curb the Covid-19 outbreak within the region.
The state government commended the effort of the commission for this outstanding support offered to Taraba state government and the good people of the state at this trying moment.
Governor Ishaku ordered the immediate release of the two ambulances and the thermometers to each of the provided state isolation centers respectively.
The Managing Director of the Northeast Development Commission (NEDC) who was represented by the Auditor General of the Commission, Muhammed Yarima Gashua assured the state government of their readiness to offer any kind of support at anytime in other to develop the region.
The Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Center Jalingo, Dr. Aisha Adamu and her counterpart of the State Specialist Hospital, Dr. Mai Anguwa received the materials on behalf of the respective Isolation center of the state as directed by Governor Ishaku.
