Taraba State Governor, His Excellency, Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku has condoled with the chairman, the people of Wukari Local Government Council and the family of the State Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation, Comrade Naphtali Kefas who died yesterday in Jalingo after a brief illness.
Gov. Ishaku said the death of Naphtali Kefas less than a year of his appointment as member of the state Executive Council has robbed the state of the services of a patriotic and hard working gentleman.
He described the late commissioner as very gentle and compassionate, the reason for his posting to the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation to help implement the government’s pragmatic programme of giving hope and succour to the poor and the needy.
The Governor prayed for God to give the people of Wukari LGA and members of the immediate family of the late commissioner the fortitude to bear this loss.
Gov. Ishaku also prayed for the repose of the soul of Naphtali Kefas.
