It is without a doubt that the coronavirus (covid19) pandemic has crippled the world economy, including education.
Schools all over the nation are still closed and parents are homeschooling their children.
In her quest to provide effective service, Her Excellency, Barr. Mrs. Anna Ishaku, Founder/CEO Hope Afresh Foundation Taraba has illustrated the need to quickly engage these children by donating an eLearning website to the Ministry of Education, Taraba State to enable the students keep themselves up to date with their studies while at home.
Her foundation organized a one day training workshop for some senior staff of the Ministry of Education in a bid to help introduce it to others in the state.
It is through eLearning that students can interact electronically with one another irrespective of their schools and locations. It will also expose the students on how best they can use online mediums of technologies for studies and other learning activities.
The portal is user friendly, up to date with learning schemes and curriculums, also equipped with a student’s forum to enable students to learn together at different locations.
