The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Illiya Bekyu Akweh has tasked Tarabans to support the peace efforts established by Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku.
The Chief Press Secretary stated this when Youths of Kurmi Local Government Area Paid him a solidarity visit in his office at the Government House Jalingo.
He said Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has rescued all sectors of the State which was made possible through the rescue mission stating that people of the state must embrace peace to keep enjoying democratic dividends.
Iliya Akweh, crave the indulgence of the people of Kurmi Local Government Area to shun sentiments of varying degree in order to forge ahead.
The Chief Press thanked Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku for appointing him as his Chief Press Secretary recalling that he was first appointed in two thousand and fifteen by the Governor as the first gazetted Deputy Chief Press Secretary.
He promised to reciprocate the magnanimity of the Governor and also be a good Ambassador of the people of Kurmi Local Government Area.Earlier, Chairman of Tigun Youths Jalingo Chapter Williams Yakubu said they were at the office of the new CPS to thanked Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku for finding one of their own worthy of the CPS position.
Yakubu also thanked Governor Darius Ishaku for appointing many sons and daughters from Kurmi in his cabinet and prayed God to reward him kindly.
On his part,Chairman of Ndola Youth Jalingo branch Abraham Sambo pleaded with the new CPS to use his office to help many youths who are unemployed in Kurmi Local Government Area.
He promised the unalloyed support of all youths in Kurmi to the leadership of Governor Darius Ishaku.
Commenting,Chairman of Ichen Youths in Jalingo Fwati Tukura recalled that since Nineteen ninety nine the people of Kurmi have not benefitted from political appointment like they are enjoying under the pragmatic leadership of Governor Darius Ishaku.
Tukura, mentioned the appointment of the Commissioner of Budget and planning Solomon Elisha and many others in his cabinet.
Youths from the various wards of Kurmi Local Government Area were represented during the visit.
