Taraba State Governor, Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku has expressed his heartfelt sympathy with the people of Mbamnga Chiefdom on the death of their paramount ruler, Ambassador Emmanuel Njiwah.
Governor Ishaku said he received the news of the sudden passing of Ambassador Njiwah with deep shock and described the traditional ruler’s death as a huge loss to Taraba State and Nigeria as a whole.
He said, as a diplomat, Njiwah served his country with utmost sense of duty and patriotism and that the bridge of unity and cooperation built by Njiwah between Nigeria and the Republic of Cameroon where he served as Nigeria’s ambassador, has endured till today.
The governor said Njiwah was an outstanding diplomat, dependable community leader and patriot.
Governor Ishaku said Njiwah’s death less than three years into his reign as the paramount ruler of Mbamnga Chiefdom has robbed the people of the community and Taraba State in general of his mature leadership, community service and exemplary life of charity.
He prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest.
