Taraba State Governor, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku has condoled with the family of Umaru Muhammad Baba (OFR), Magajin Garin Muri and former minister of State for Defence and for Petroleum at various times, who passed on Thursday March 26, 2021 in Kaduna.
Governor Ishaku described Alhaji Umaru as an examplary public servant with a huge public and private sector experience.
He said the late Alhaji Umaru was a boardroom guru and an inspiration to many of today’s leading public servants.
Governor Ishaku acknowledged, in particular, Alhaji Umaru’s contributions to the development of Taraba State and the entire North East geo-political Zone through his numerous public service appointments in the state government and in the zone.
He said the present and future generation of public servants would continue to be guided by the indelible marks of patriotic service left behind by Alhaji Umaru.
He prayed Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.
