The governor gave the assurance when the Country Director of the UNHCR paid him a courtesy call at the Government House Jalingo.
He said his administration has provided schools, food, shelter and health care services for the refugees to be comfortable in wherever they seek refuge.
Governor Ishaku attributed the influx of refugees to the state mostly from Cameroon, to the peaceful nature of the state in the northeast.
He thanked the UNHCR for their various contributions to refugees in the state , pledging to always support their activities.
He urged internally displaced persons (IDPs) that are resident in the state to quickly settle down and engage in meaningful ventures that will better their lot.
The Governor also thanked the United Nations for their various support to the people of the Mambilla Plateau during the crises of 2017.
