Taraba State Governor, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku has, on behalf of himself, the government and people of the state, commiserated with Hon Danladi Baido Tijo on the passing of his father, Rev. Baido Joseph Tijo.
Governor Ishaku described the late Joseph Tijo as a great servant of God who played a key role in the spread of Christianity to the hinterlands of Taraba State and the entire North East region of Nigeria.
He said through his enviable role in the Lord’s Vineyard, the late clergyman earned for himself alot of respect and recognition from which the younger members of the Baido Tijo family would continue to profit for a long time to come.
The governor urged members of the family of the late Baido Tijo to take solace in the fact that their patriarch had, through his good deeds here on earth, earned for himself a place of honour in the Kingdom of God.
He prayed for the repose of the soul of Joseph Tijo.
