No fewer than 500 hundreds internal display person’s (IDP’s) benefited from the Hope Afresh Foundation’s accelerated efforts in reaching out to displaced persons within Takum local government area.
The materials were distributed at the Roman Catholic Church premises along Takum-Ussa road, where beneficiaries all converged and received the materials.
The exercise which was put together by Barr. Anna Ishaku’s Hope Afresh Foundation, is one of the front runner foundation in Taraba state that has helped in many ways in alleviating the plight of the less privileged and IDPs in the state.
Represented at the venue of the exercise, Barr Anna Ishaku, through Hon. Emmanuel Ernest, a Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Taraba state, distributed the materials to beneficiaries and ensured that all IDPs at the point of distribution were reached.
Communities who benefited from the good gesture of the wife of the Governor through her foundation includes; Muji 1, Muji 2, Kwariben, Nzuweiwaya, Basang, Tudun Haske kakum, Simta and Fawen. Others are, Kashiten, Kuffi, Zoshi, Dinyina, Jenuwa Nyifiye, Bissaulla and Tati.
These were communities affected by crises in recent times in the area.
