The Governor made the disclosure while speaking at an interactive session with Permanent Secretaries in Jalingo, the state capital.
He expressed optimism that the ministries would become more effective, leading to the growth of the state.
“There will be need for us to merge some of the ministries for proper results. This will enable the state have more directorates or departments”, he said.
He added that the move will help to create room for training and retraining of civil servants for effective job delivery.
Disclosing that his administration is already working out the plans, he reiterated his commitment to consult with the Permanent Secretaries where necessary, urging them to always endeavour to come around for interactions
