“Tarabans Deserves Access To Education Without Unbearable Burdens” – Gov. Agbu Kefas

His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas on July 5th 2023, made an unscheduled visit to Taraba State University, Jalingo. After engagements with both the Management and Students of the Institution, the Governor announced a 50% reduction in school fees effective from the next academic session.

He said that the decision to reduce the school fees of students by 50% became very necessary because Tarabans deserve to have access to Education without unbearable burdens.

“Following reports on my desk and via the Social Media, the Management should expedite the accreditation processes for some unaccredited courses – especially Law and Medical Laboratory Science.” he said.

During the visit, Governor Agbu Kefas checked the Female Hostels and promised the students that the hostels will experience immediate renovations, so as to improve their living conditions.
