The management of post primary schools management board have inaugurated a seven-man committee in response to the declaration of free education for primary and secondary schools in Taraba state by His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, the post primary schools management board has confirmed its readiness to implement the policy without further delay.
Members of the committee includes Mr. Dauda Idris Balasa Chairman and Bakari Umar Bello as the secretary. Others include Atiku Ibrahim, Isaac Andrias, Daniel Khinya, Musa Dan-gana, Elsie Yarutu and Henry Peter as members.
The Executive Secretary, Dan-azumi Navoki Hassan commended the governor for his declaration of state of emergency on education and subsequent pronouncement of free education in the state.
He explained that the committee was put in place to provide a road map for the board to succeed in implementing the free education in the state.
Danazumi Hassan who tasked members of the committee to ensure workable recommendation that will assist the board in implementing a free education policy urge them to be resolute as the Governor will not tolerate failure on the part of education, disclosing that the composition of the committee are men with proving integrity and merits saddled with responsibility of moving education forward and ensure that the governor’s policy on education woud be a dream come true.
