Ishaku Calls for Drastic Change in Attitude and Approach in Governance Governor Ishaku Inaugurates New Governing Council of Taraba State University Taraba Launches e-IGR United Nations Day Against Human Trafficking. Her Excellency, Mrs. Agyin Agbu Kefas, joined hundreds of Tarabans to trek to commemorate the United Nations Day against zero tolerance for Human Trafficking in the State. The Taraba First Lady however appealed to all stakeholders to adopt zero tolerance for the protection of our citizens so as to effectively tackle this menace. She implore parents to be vigilant when trusting their children to unknown individuals and call for the unity of our religious leaders, law enforcement agencies, teachers, community leader and policy makers to combat this wicked acts in our land even as she celebrated the reunion and reintegration of over 365 children who were victims of trafficking but were intercepted. Mrs. Agyin thanked the Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas and his team for ordering the renovation of shelters and facilities where these children are kept, and making primary and secondary education free and viewed as a crucial step in breaking the circle of exploitation.
