In a significant step towards realizing Taraba State’s agricultural potential, the Executive Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has forged a collaborative alliance with the African Development Bank (AfDB) during a pivotal workshop on Agro-Industrial Processing Zones held in Abuja. Governor Kefas, demonstrating unwavering determination, articulated his commitment to revitalizing Taraba State’s agricultural sector through strategic partnerships. “I believe Taraba State possesses all the essential ingredients for a thriving agricultural sector,” Governor Kefas declared during his address. “We are blessed with fertile land, dedicated farmers, and a climate conducive to agriculture. It’s high time we leverage these advantages and turn them into economic opportunities for our people.” H.E Dr. Agbu Kefas alongside Bauchi State Governor, H.E Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, Delegation from Taraba state and others at the AfDB workshop in Abuja. The Governor was accompanied by a formidable delegation of key government officials. These officials, who play vital roles in the state’s agricultural transformation, include: Barrister Zainab Jalingo, Commissioner of Information and Reorientation, Engr. Naomi Agbu, Commissioner of Energy and Power, Peter George, Commissioner of Trade and Commerce, Professor Nicholas Namessan, Commissioner of Agriculture and Food Security.
