The Hon. Commissioner of the Ministry, Mr Jigem H. Johanes, hails from Sardauna Local Government and was born 25th March 1963. He is married with four (4) children.
He began his Educational career at Mbamnga Central Primary School from 1973 to 1978. He proceeded for his Post-Primary Education at Government Teachers College, Gembu from 1978 – 1983. He proceeded further to College of Education Hong, Gongola state from 1984 – 1987 and the University of Calabar for his first degree from 1989 – 1991.

Mr Buba Jilack Peter, the Director of Technical and Science Education in the Ministry was born 1st January 1959 and hails from Sardauna Local Government. He is married with Seven (7) children.
He began his Educational career at the Dorofi Central Primary School from 1968 – 1975 and completed his Secondary School at Teachers College, Jalingo from 1977 – 1981. He obtained his National Certificate in Education (N.C.E) from College of Education, Jalingo – 1983 – 1986. He furthered his studies at the University of Maiduguri from 1990 – 1994 and enrolled into the University of Calabar for his Master’s Degree.
Professional Achievements
Professionally, he has achieved a lot and made an impact in the following;
- He was a Teacher, Vice principal and a Principal.
- He held a position as a Director of Science and Technical Education and served with (GECHAN) NGO as the grown foot distributor for malnourished orphans in 2014.
- He was also a consultant and facilitator for family health initiator in 2007.
