Gov. Ishaku Re-affirms Commitment Towards Security Outfits in the State

Gov. Ishaku issuing a document to the State’s Commandant of FRSC at Government House, Jalingo.

Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to ensure that all security outfits in the state have their permanent site than to stay in rented accommodation.

The Governor disclosed this to the Corps Marshall of the Federal Road Safety Corp who was represented by the State Commandant Frank Chukwuemeka Okwueze at the Government House Jalingo.

He commended the efforts of all Commandants of the FRSC who have served since he came on board mostly during the last general elections and asked them to forward the verbal commendation to the National headquarters and emphasised that the ban on motorcycle is still in force and challenged them to arrest those breaking the law.

Corps Marshall of the Federal Road Safety Corp Boboye Oyeyemi assured Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku of the FRSC resolve to keep the highway safe for all citizens.

The Corp Marshall made the pledge when he received Certificate of Occupancy from Governor Darius Ishaku at the Government House Jalingo for it’s permanent site at Jauro Yinu in Ardo Kola Local Government Area.

The Corp Marshall who was represented by the State Commandant Frank Chukwuemeka Okwueze said the FRSC over the years has fulfilled its mandate of making roads safe for Nigerians through traffic management.

Oyeyemi revealed that as soon as funds are made available the permanent office would be constructed to standard and add beauty to the landscape of the area.

He thanked Governor Darius Ishaku for his love to the Corp by providing them with patrol vehicle and other logistics support promising not to re track on activities concerning the mandate of the FRSC.

Earlier, Permanent Secretary Land and Survey Zachariah Aboki saluted the magnanimity of Governor Darius Ishaku who asked them not to waste time to prepare the C of O to enable the FRSC have a permanent structure.
