
Danbaba Suntai Finally Laid to Rest in Suntai.
Former Governor of Taraba state, Danbaba Danfulani Suntai has been laid to rest.
The final interment took place at his residence in Suntai, Bali Local Government Area.
Speaking, Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku thanked all those that accompanied the corpse to Suntai and pray God to bless them bountifully.
While performing the final interment, President of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria, Musa Philibus urged the family to find solace in God over what has happened.
He advised them to remain focus for the unity of the family.
In an interview, People’s Democratic Party Chairman, North East Zone, Amb. Emmanuel Njiwah described late Danbaba Suntai as a legend that has contributed immensely towards the development of the state.
Commenting, Taraba state Head of Service, Mr Simon Istifanus Angyu stated that the deceased would be greatly missed by people of the state and the entire family stressing that he has left indelible mark in the sands of time.
On his part, the Transport officer, Government House, Ibrahim Yaboro remarked that Danbaba Suntai memories lingers on in view of his developmental initiative that has impacted positively on the lives of the people.
For the Chairman Nigeria Labour Congress, Taraba State Council, Peter Gambo extolled the sterling qualities of the deceased which includes, humility, love, compassion and kindness which he attributed to the reasons behind the large turnout of loyalist, dignitaries and clergies across board.
Government House correspondent Joachim Dangana Bandawa says the final interment was emotional as friends, loyalist and families could not hold their tears mostly when the remains of Danbaba Danfulani Suntai was lowered to the grave.
