Suspension of Sardauna Local Government Boss is in Line with Constitutional Provisions.
Acting Chairman, Sardauna local Government Area Godswill Sol has reaffirmed his resolve, that the suspension of the Local Government boss and his vice was in line with constitutional provisions and an exercise geared towards strengthening democratic tenants.
Godswill Sol,made the remarks while addressing people of his area in Gembu, Sardauna Local Government Area.
The Chairman said the action of the Local Government Legislative Council becomes necessary to calm down growing agitations from some quarters.
He stated categorically that the suspended Chairman of the Council was not impeached as been speculated by some people and various media platforms calling on the people to disregard such insinuations.
He pointed out that 16 count charges was labelled against the suspended chairman and his Vice which are unhealthy for democracy,assuring them that as soon as things are cleared the Chairman and his vice will return to office.
Godswill caution people of the Area to stop making statements across religion, tribal and political line for the interest of development of the Area.
He debunked the rumour peddling around that the state Government or Sardauna Local Government Area Stakeholders have hands in the Suspension.
The Chairman , reminded the people that his single Mission within this period is to restore total Peace on the Mambilla Plateau.
Godswil, called on Indigence of Mambilla Plateau to key into his Mission designed to carry everybody along.
The acting Chairman, thanked Security operatives in the Area for their tireless efforts towards Maintaining Peace on the Mambilla Plateau.
