Gov. Ishaku Commissions Mararaba, Donga Magistrate Court
The Executive Governor, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku today commissioned the Mararaba, Donga magistrate court, a second court edifice he is commissioning in the space of two days.

The Governor during the event thanked the Chief Judge, Justice Josephine Tuktur describing her as really persistent when ever she wanted anything done, especially when it has to do with his people.
The Governor advised the people to always wholeheartedly accept development when it came their way.
Ishaku said the court complexes were a plus not only for Donga, Mararaba but for all the people of Taraba State.
The Governor reiterated his commitment to development saying if the peace enjoyed sofar is sustained, he would do even more.
He also provided a heavy duty generator for the court to power appliances and aid conducive environment for continued justice delivery.
Also speaking, the Chief Judge, Justice Josephine Tuktur said the Government could not do everything for the people and stressed that the élite would also have to support the Government in bringing to the people the desired development.
Justice Tuktur said even though there was so much controversy around erecting the edifice, she was overwhelmed with joy seeing that the court was finally being commissioned.
The building she said was above the standard of an Area Court, hence her decision to upgrade it to a Magistrate court.
She called on the people to shun all religious or tribal sentiments so that justice could reach the doorstep of a common man.

Distinguished senator Emmanuel Bwacha speaking said God had granted him the grace to complete the project and to him, there was nothing more than giving back to the society and that was what he had just done.
Bwacha said he felt pain knowing that his people had to travel all the way to Jalingo to seek for redress when the need arose and that promoted the construction of the complex.
Bwacha commended the Governor for all his efforts especially in infrastructure saying there was infrastructural decay in the Country but despite that, Governor Ishaku continues to make a difference.
The Chief Magistrate of the State, Barr. Mrs Clara G. Kataps commended the Governor for the step taken to make sure that a space for justice is provided in the State.
