Wife of Taraba State Governor Supports Fight Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drugs Trafficking

Wife of Taraba State Governor, Mrs. Agyin Agbu Kefas has pledged her unwavering support to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in their ongoing battle against drug abuse and the illicit trafficking of drugs.

During a visit by the Commander of the NDLEA and his delegation to the Hope Afresh Foundation in Jalingo, situated opposite the Muslim Council, Mrs. Agyin Agbu Kefas expressed her endorsement of the agency’s efforts. She emphasized the need for a strong partnership that would effectively combat the menace of drug abuse and ensure the state’s security.

Furthermore, Mrs. Agyin Agbu Kefas disclosed her personal commitment to addressing the pressing issue of drug abuse within communities by adopting it as her primary project. She assured the NDLEA of her office’s support in their mission.

In recognition of her dedication and advocacy, Mrs. Agyin Agbu Kefas was honored with the Responsibility Award by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on the occasion of the United Nations International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drugs Trafficking.

Moreover, in a testament to her significant contributions, she was crowned as the Grand Ambassador of the War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) in Taraba State.
