Boosting Internally Generated Revenue
We shall set up a team of economic experts to review Taraba State’s internally generated revenue (IGR) and advice on how to increase the IGR to the extent of making the state financially autonomous. This approach is aimed to lessen the state’s sole dependence on the allocation from the Federation Account as is the case presently.
Government Business Enterprises (GBEs) such as Taraba Investment and Properties (TRIP), Taraba Gas, Taraba Motel, Mambilla Highland Tea, and Taraba MicroFinance Bank, among others shall be revamped or repositioned to boost the IGR base.
